Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park – Cairns


Award-winning cultural hub Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park is in the Cairns area of Far North Queensland, Australia. The park's purpose is to display the diverse cultural history of the local Aboriginal population and to provide tourists with a fascinating glimpse into their way of life.

The Djabugay people's ancestral grounds are where the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park is. The Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park Aboriginal Company owns and runs the facility. Since its debut in 1987, it has grown to rank among the top tourist destinations in the area.
