Museum of Brisbane

The Museum of Brisbane is situated in King George Square on Level 3 of Brisbane City Hall. City Hall is Brisbane's top heritage structure and holds a special place in the hearts of its citizens as the "People's Place."

Christmas Day (December 25), Boxing Day (December 26), New Year's Day (January 1), and Good Friday are all holidays when the Museum of Brisbane is closed (April 7).
On ANZAC Day, the Museum of Brisbane opens at 1:30 pm (April 25).
The Museum of Brisbane is open on all other public holidays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

If you make a reservation for a party of ten or more, a member of the museum staff will meet you there to help you plan an entertaining visit, show you through the facilities and current exhibitions, point out exciting artwork and stories, and answer all of your questions. You can use the exhibition brochures and any related materials the museum gives you while you're there.
